Guardian Society

With more than 31,200 acres, the Lake County Forest Preserves protects more than $1 billion in assets for the citizens of Lake County. With more open space and trails under management and 25% less tax revenue each year since 2009, our leadership donors are vital to ensuring the high level of maintenance and care for their forest preserves that Lake County residents have come to appreciate.

With a gift $1,000 or more annually, Guardian Society members lead and inspire others to help the Forest Preserves do more in every aspect of its mission. As a member of the Guardian Society, you will receive invitations to special events, programs, and experiences. Past Guardian Society events include an elegant harvest dinner, special tours led by natural resources staff, Dunn Museum exhibition opening receptions, and behind-the-scenes tours of our landscape-scale habitat restoration successes.
