Grab your sled and head out to one of our sledding hills. Snowboards, metal runners or toboggans are not permitted.

Hours and Locations

Sled hills are located at Lakewood in Wauconda and at Old School in Libertyville.

The Old School hill is open 6:30 am–sunset, daily when conditions allow for sledding. To access the sled hill, follow the roadway until you reach the parking area on your right signed for sledding and skating. Map »

The Lakewood hill is part of a dedicated Winter Sports Area at that site, and is lighted, allowing for extended winter fun 6:30 am–9 pm, daily. It’s next to the ice skating rink, so you can access two activities in one visit. Map »
