The Lake County Forest Preserves is cooperating with Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation to keep a close watch on an injured mute swan at Hastings Lake Forest Preserve in Lake Villa.
At a special meeting on Monday, December 2, the Board of Commissioners elected Jessica Vealitzek (District 10) to serve as president of the Lake County Forest Preserves. The Board also elected Gina Roberts (District 4) to serve as vice president.
