Choose from a variety of plant species including native flowers, ferns, forbs and grasses. As you shop, learn about eco-friendly practices to benefit your home, wallet and community. Experts will be available at the sale to answer questions.

Inventory is limited and first-come, first-serve. The best plant selection will be on Saturday. Plants are not restocked overnight. We encourage shoppers to bring boxes to transport plants home.

Plants are provided by Possibility Place Nursery. Admission to Independence Grove is free for all Native Plant Sale customers. Plant prices vary.

Why Plant Native Species?

You can choose from a variety of native ferns, flowers, herbaceous plants, shrubs or woody plants suited to almost any property. Native plants are beautiful, less expensive, easy to maintain and beneficial to the environment. They thrive in Illinois yards and gardens.
