Join us for an author reading and signing with James Ciccone for his new book, The Lake County Trilogy. Ciccone's ancestor was the brother of Amos Bennett, Lake County's first African American settler. His historical fiction short story collection captures the hidden realities of the lives of early settlers of Lake County, Illinois with particular emphasis on Amos Bennett.

Dunn Museum Curator Diana Dretske wrote the book's introduction and will present on Amos Bennett's remarkable life.
