Do you know who lives in the water, and feeds larger wildlife? Maybe something you've never seen before will surprise you. Using dip nets, we'll catch and observe aquatic critters. All animals will be released unharmed. Others may choose to play with the water, mud, rocks, etc.
Allow children to scoop and play in the water, searching for aquatic critters that perhaps they, and you, have never seen before. Build and create with water, mud and rocks.
Time outdoors in nature is beneficial for everyone.
FREE. Adult supervision required.
Wear water shoes, boots or shoes that will stay on your feet that can get wet and muddy. Wear clothing that can get muddy and wet. May want to bring a towel and extra clothes and shoes.
Park at North Bay Pavilion. Meet at the Independence Grove Canoe Launch at 1PM. Program will take place underneath the bridge.
